Terms of Service

Last updated: July 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of share.env. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

1. The service

share.env lets a workspace store .env files and share them with teammates under owner, editor, and viewer roles, and generate expiring links for people without an account. We may add, change, or remove features at any time; we'll try to give notice before removing anything you actively rely on.

2. Your account

  • You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You're responsible for all activity under your account, including anything done by workspace members you invite.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • Notify us immediately at kpzsproductionscontact@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use share.env to:

  • Store or share content you don't have the legal right to hold (e.g. someone else's credentials without authorization).
  • Attempt to bypass workspace roles, Row Level Security, or any other access control.
  • Probe, scan, or attack the service's infrastructure, or resell access without our written agreement.
  • Upload malware or content that violates applicable law.

4. Your content, our license

You retain all rights to the .env files and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, encrypt, back up, and transmit that content solely to operate the service for you we don't use it for any other purpose, and we don't claim ownership of it.

5. Plans and billing

The free plan covers up to 3 environments. Beyond that, environments are billed at $2 per environment per month, billed monthly. Downgrading or deleting environments takes effect at the next billing cycle; we don't provide partial-month refunds except where required by law.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is", without an uptime guarantee unless a separate written SLA says otherwise. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where practical.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, share.env is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your own mismanagement of credentials, workspace roles, or share links. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates section 3, with notice where feasible. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page; workspaces you solely own are deleted along with their environments.

9. Changes to these terms

We'll post material changes here with an updated date, and notify account owners by email for changes that meaningfully reduce your rights.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
